I’m an assistant professor at the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics of the University of Warsaw. In 2015, I received my PhD in mathematics in the field of general topology. The thesis, supervised by Professor Kazimierz Alster, was titled GO-Spaces and Paracompactness in Cartesian Products. In 2024, I successfully completed my habilitation at the University of Warsaw, presenting a series of research papers entitled Combinatorial Covering Properties.I work in the field of set-theoretic topology, infinite combinatorics, and topological selections, with an emphasis on covering properties in products of spaces.
In 2014, I was awarded an Etiuda grant from the Polish National Science Centre. This scholarship included a six-month research stay at Bar-Ilan University in Israel under the supervision of Professor Boaz Tsaban. Then I continued the collaboration with Professor Tsaban during a one-year postdoctoral position at Bar-Ilan University. In 2021, together with Professor Lyubomyr Zdomskyy from the Vienna University of Technology, we received a three-year international Weave-UNISONO grant financed by the Polish National Science Centre and the Austrian Science Fund to implement the project Set-theoretic aspects of topological selections.
