Set-theoretic methods in topology and real functions theory, dedicated to 80th birthday of Lev Bukovský
Košice, Slovakia, 9-13 September 2019
I’m an assistant professor at the Institute of Mathematics of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. In 2015, I earned my PhD in mathematics in the field of general topology. The thesis, supervised by Professor Kazimierz Alster, was titled GO-Spaces and Paracompactness in Cartesian Products.
I work in the field of general topology and set-theoretic topology, infinite combinatorics, and selection principles, with an emphasis on covering properties in products of spaces.
In 2014, I was awarded Etiuda Grant by Polish National Science Center for the implementation of the project GO-Spaces and Paracompactness in Cartesian Products. This scholarship included a 6-month internship at Bar-Ilan University in Israel under the supervision of Professor Boaz Tsaban. In 2016, I received a 1-year post-doctoral position at Bar-Ilan Univeristy under the Kolman-Soref grant. Currently, I continue the collaboration with Professor Tsaban.
